Pros: This is an all around good router. It has great range without the visual antenna eye sore. The router has many great features namely the USB for networking. I use my USB port for connecting a drive for network drive sharing which is pretty cool. I initially purchased this item as an upgrade to my D-Link Xtreme G router as I was having issues with range. This is not a plug and play item.
I would recommend this item to users who are familiar with routers and configuration, but not necessarily a beginner. Cons: This is not a user friendly product. It can at times be involved, depending on the need.
Do not be miss lead in thinking you can connect a printer to the USB. However, you can use it to connect an external hard drive and for configuration. Since having the Linksys , I have rebooted it at least 5 times in the last three weeks. It seems to lose connection from time to time.

Its a good ft distance from the router in a back bedroom and goes through many walls. This router was bought to stream HD content to our front room TV via HDMI on a laptop and it can do that just fine where my previous router failed to do so. Overall Review: I saw an improvement from my previous router even being a wired connection on both to my desktop consistent 28mbps down before on net speedtests, after new router, 30mbps. I have a feeling you're getting every ounce of speed possible out of your internet connection with this router.
It feels that way anyway. I never once touched the included software. I just went directly to If linksys does only include a 7 day trial of their software with this product, shame on them. Sunday, August 9, PM. I suggest you go to the LinksysbyCisco website and download the latest firmware release. Be sure to remove the external drive before updating the firmware. After applying the firmware, shut the router down, re-attach the external USB drive and then turn the router back on.
